Tax Accountability Endorses Record 62 Candidates for 2010 Primary

CHICAGO—Politicians are hearing the anti-tax roar growing in Illinois. A record 62 candidates have been endorsed for the February 2, 2010 primary election by Tax Accountability, the political action arm of National Taxpayers United of Illinois (NTUI). On Thursday, December 10, Jim Tobin, President of National Taxpayers United of Illinois, was interviewed by 1330 WNTA Rockford. Tobin spoke to the station regarding Gov. Patrick Quinn and Comptroller Daniel Hynes’ recent attempts to knock their gubernatorial opponents– William “Dock” Walls, III and Ed Scanlon– out of the February 2 Primary.
