NTUI President Jim Tobin’s daughter, Christina, not only collects signatures to increase voter choice, she also defends candidates from being unfairly knocked off the ballot.
The following article appeared in Section 1 of the June 15, 2010 edition of the Wall Street Journal and describes how the crooked Texas Democratic Party is attempting to discredit Christina’s recent petition drive to put the Green Party on the ballot.

The following excerpt, which ran on page one of today’s New York Times, is from a feature story about California’s “Top Two” Referendum: Proposition 14. Christina Tobin, Founder of the Free and Equal Elections Foundation and leading opponent of this measure, is quoted in the piece.
Sponsored by Hewlett-Packard, Proposition 14 would destroy third party and independent candidates in California and make it easier to increase state taxes by limiting competition at the ballot box. A nationwide boycott of HP is being considered.

The following story was broadcast April 2 on KMOX Radio, the largest station in Southern Illinois.

ROCKFORD-– Jim Tobin, president of National Taxpayers United of Illinois, was a guest speaker at the April 6 Tea Party in Rockford, where an estimated 1,000 activists gathered as part of the nationwide Tea Party Express movement’s only scheduled stop in Northern Illinois.
