NTUI’s Alex Voorman was interviewed by CBS 2 Chicago regarding the $500 million Cook County sales tax increase.

There was a tax protest in front of the Thompson Center in Chicago on Tuesday, July 1st to oppose the $500 million Cook County Sales Tax increase.  NTUI was there to speak and can be seen on NBC 5 Chicago’s website.

On May 27, 2008 Jim Tobin was interviewed by Chicagoland TV (CLTV) and Fox TV Chicago to discuss huge increases in total state revenue since 2003 and the 2,500 government pension millionaires.

Jim Tobin was interviewed this morning at Fox TV Chicago to discuss NTUI and the fight against higher taxes, including Senate Bill 2288. This was great publicity as we had a record number of viewers on our website.

The National Taxpayers United of Illinois is launching a media campaign to oppose Senate Bill 2288 which would raise your state income tax by 67%. Three radio commercials have already been produced and you can hearing them today on the radio. It is extremely important that the taxpayers let their voices be heard on this tax increase.
